# Welcome to Omnibus Owl

Automatic price-history tracking and lowest-price display that keeps your Shopify store compliant with the EU Omnibus Directive.

🦉 **Omnibus Owl** tracks the price of every product variant in your store and displays the **lowest price in the last 30 days** on your storefront — exactly as required by the EU Omnibus Directive. It runs automatically in the background, works with Shopify Markets and multiple currencies, and needs no manual bookkeeping.

## What Omnibus Owl does

* **Tracks every price change automatically.** From the moment you install, the app records each variant's price to a private price history and keeps a rolling 30-day window.
* **Shows the compliant "lowest price" line** on your product pages through a theme block — with your wording, your date format, and your store's currency per market.
* **Keeps working across markets.** Prices and currencies are stored per country, so shoppers in each market see the correct reference price.
* **Adds smart, optional automations** — automatic strikethrough (compare-at) prices, sale tagging, native discount tracking, and Shopify Flow triggers.

**Important:** Omnibus Owl can only see prices **from the day you install it onward**. It cannot recover historical prices from before installation.
