Templates

Start from a proven rule instead of a blank form.

Templates are pre-filled automation rules for the patterns merchants set up most often. Picking one opens the normal rule form with every field already filled in — nothing is locked, so you can change anything before saving.

Using a template

From the home page, click Browse all templates, or pick one of the three suggestions shown on the home page before you have any automations of your own.

Each template card shows its reward and any minimum requirement, so you can tell at a glance what it does.

Selecting a template:

  1. Opens the order-value rule form, pre-filled.

  2. Lets you adjust the amount, targeting, dates, and expiry.

  3. Saves as a normal automation — inactive until you activate it.

There is no ongoing link back to the template. Once saved, the rule is yours and editing it changes nothing else.

What templates cover

Templates map onto common reward patterns:

  • Percentage cashback — a flat percentage back on every order.

  • Spend thresholds — "spend X, get Y", using a minimum purchase amount.

  • VIP rewards — a richer reward limited to a customer segment.

  • Product or collection rewards — credit only for a specific range.

  • Referral reward — a one-time reward for customers who enter a referral code at checkout.

The available templates are curated and change over time, so the list in your admin is the authoritative one.

Templates are only a starting point for order-value rules. Scheduled automations are always built from a blank form.

After saving

A template-created rule behaves exactly like one built by hand — same options, same run history, same plan limits. See Order-value automations for what each field does.
